Request an Art Print

You can help us with the development and maintenance cost of our website by purchasing photos that are available in our collection. Look for the “Request A Print” button underneath the photos in our collection and let us know the size you are interested in and we will prepare a quote based on your needs. Custom framing is available on request.

Please note that several early items in this collection are only available in low resolution and need to be rescanned. When you “Request A Print” we will search our archives for the highest possible resolution photo and see if it can be imaged at the size requested.

All of our photographic prints are imaged to environmentally friendly 100% cotton rag paper with archival pigmented inks guaranteed to last 100+ years if cared for properly for the life of your print.

Curate a ROAD TRIPS Card Series

We are currently designing card series featuring work from this archive as well as the work of our favorite photographers as part of a year-long exhibit at Point.B Studio. Do you have 6-12 photographs of the area that you would like to have as a set of personalized stationery? You can be a part of our art show and help us build our collection by bringing them to Point.B Studio (see map below … or email them to point.b@memory.org). We’ll create a custom set of cards just for you and add the photos to our atlas of the area which is currently in progress. We are interested in photos of historic significance, but appreciate all photos that show the unique splendor of the area. Custom designed card sets start at $50 for 6 cards (includes set up fee) and reprints are available on request. All proceeds support the Port Orford Historical Photos Project.

Contribute Materials

Port Orford Historical Photos accepts contributions in digital format or we can scan your original artifacts at high resolution. For purposes of preservation and production integrity, we recommend scanning materials with a high-resolution scanner. *

Digital materials can be sent to point.b@memory.org. If you have a substantial amount of digital material to donate, we recommend using Dropbox or copying your items to a Flash Drive or an SD Card and delivering them to us at Point.B Studio. If you have physical artifacts that need to be digitized, you can also bring them to Point.B Studio at 351 6th Street, Port Orford, OR, 97465.Contribute Historical Data

At present, we are interested in anyone who has historical information regarding any of the photos currently in our collection. We will be adding this information to the archive as well as geographic data and links of attribution. All contributions of this type can be sent via email to point.b@memory.org.

Port Orford Historical Photos is a labor of love made possible through the efforts of Alan Mitchell, Point.B Studio and all contributors. Thank you!
